Kids & families
The Kunstmuseum Bern can turn experiencing art into an exciting game. The events we organize for children around 4 – 12 years introduce them to art by means of playful and highly imaginative investigation of individual works. We explore exhibitions or examine a selection of artworks. Painting and creating things in the studio is part of our art-viewing program for children and gives them the opportunity to try out their own ideas.
The children’s program takes place on Saturdays and Sundays (simultaneous with guided tours for adults). For children who speak English or Russian we provide special workshops once a month. We are only too pleased to organize parent-and-children workshops on special demand.
